“A Gathering of Patriots.”

On the 24th of April, President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. of Liberia and trusted consultant, Rodos Realty Advisers C.E.O, Steven Franco met in Sacramento, California. The meeting convened with the intent to coordinate a solution to Liberia’s food security challenges. Mr. Franco has been key in bringing some of the world’s renowned agricultural industry and academia professionals to the table.

President Boakai Sr. has implemented the “Liberians Feed Yourselves Agenda,” a six-year National Agriculture Development Plan. This strategic initiative aims to transform Liberia’s agricultural landscape. By leveraging inventive strategies, modern technologies, and comprehensive investments, the President is committed to building a self-reliant, more resilient sector. Rodos Realty Advisors is most proud to assist Libera in its commendable effort to better the lives of its people, our fellow humans.

This historic moment was marked by a gifting to the President from Mr. Franco. President Boakai was presented with a poignant symbol: an ornamental stone engraved with The Tree of Life. The stone was handcrafted by Cherie Fuller, an esteemed vendor at Mr. Franco’s Farmer’s Market, The Corner. On the heels of The United States of America’s 250th birthday, this conference represents RRA’s deeply felt sense of patriotism. As is said here on the Emerald Coast, “A rising tide raises all ships.” Across the world, our individual patriotism conspires to help us all grow.

Another important figure involved in this partnership is Liberian native and Destin Florida local, Zhalman Harris. Mr. Harris is the founder and president of Aletha’s Legacy, a nonprofit organization created to better the lives of under-privileged children in his home country. Through mission trips, they renovate schools and orphanages; improving quality of education and access to nutrition in school. Mr. Harris has rallied many across Florida’s Emerald Coast to the Liberian cause since 2019. With Rodos Realty, Harris and Franco have increased this effort over the last 12 months; working towards public and private for-profit investment in key sectors of the Liberian economy.

As a true American patriot, Mr. Franco has launched Patriot’s Point, a nonprofit with the mission to develop a place of creativity, connection, and community pride. Somewhere families gather, visitors reflect, and community comes together for meaningful experiences while paying tribute to our veterans, fallen heroes, and fellow patriots. At the heart of this vision is a campaign to raise $1,250,000 to establish a monumental display of patriotism: a towering 150-foot high American flag, accompanied by a 50-foot high Florida state flag and a 50-foot high Patriot Support flag, anchored by a memorial base honoring fallen heroes.
